Mae escobar
Mae Escobar has 30 years of proven strategic marketing, advertising, and public relations and event management experience. Mae’s biggest strength is her ability produce large and small events and to keep a team on track to meet every deadline while staying within budget. Her event expertise includes grand openings, working on special events for various departments within the City of San Antonio, project manager for national events such as The National Hispanic Society of Hispanic MBAs, National Council of La Raza and Grace Hopper Institute. Fundraising events associated with Fiesta San Antonio include Rey Feo Campaigns, San Antonio River Walk Association and activations with Tabasco. Mae has also worked as a backstage manager for local and regional events
Maritza cirlos, CFEA
Maritza Cirlos is a highly sought-after event and production director with street “creds” and event knowledge that spans over 25 years. Maritza is an expert in producing complex and multifaceted live events, her passion is producing outdoor festivals. She loves the challenge of engineering events in outdoor spaces where there is no existing infrastructure and creating event spaces and experiences in nature. Her favorite saying is “with a budget, anything is possible” but knowing realistically that the budget is key to continued success of organizations and events for years to come and the communities they serve. With experience in producing multiple outdoor events and festivals comes the invaluable knowledge of knowing what is needed, what to look for and the right questions to ask to avoid any logistical and/ or monetary surprises. In recent years Maritza has worked producing many of San Antonio’s premiere events that include Fiesta Fiesta the kick-off to Fiesta, Luminaria: Arts Night, Rock & Roll Marathon, and San Antonio Book Festival and works with many non-profit and corporations. Maritza has extensive experience in activating events in shopping centers and she was key team member in the grand opening and monthly activations at PicaPica Plaza a modern indoor shopping center in the Southside of San Antonio.
